June
The 2006 Census of Population and Housing results will be officially released on 27 June 2007 and available free of charge on the ABS website.
July
Preliminary population estimates for sub-state/territory areas (including Statistical Local Areas and Local Government Areas) based on results of the 2006 Census, will be released on 24 July 2007 in Regional Population Growth, Australia 1996 to 2006(cat. no. 3218.0).
August
Preliminary experimental estimates of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians for 30 June 2006, based on the 2006 Census, will be released in Population Distribution, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians, 2006(cat. no. 4705.0) in August 2007. These will also be published in the following issue of Australian Demographic Statistics, March quarter 2007(cat. no. 3101.0) to be released on 24 September 2007.
