PERSPECTIVES ON REGIONAL AUSTRALIA: WEALTH THROUGHOUT AUSTRALIA

Perspectives on Regional Australia: Wealth throughout Australia (cat no. 1380.0.55.004) is the fourth of a series of publications analysing a range of topics with a particular focus on regional Australia, due for release 28 March 2008. This issue examines the level and distribution of wealth, in the form of assets and liabilities, across urban and rural areas of Australia. The data presented are from the 2005-06 Survey of Income and Housing and the regional dimension in this publication is based on the Section of State structure which enables comparison across urban and rural areas of Australia.
