TREND ESTIMATES
  • In June quarter 2008, the trend estimate for the number of sheep slaughtered rose by 4% to 3.1 million.
  • In June quarter 2008, the trend estimate for the number of lambs slaughtered fell by 4% to 5.0 million.
  • In June quarter 2008, the trend estimate for the number of pigs slaughtered fell by 3% to below 1.3 million.
