MAJOR GROUP 2 PROFESSIONALS
PROFESSIONALS perform analytical, conceptual and creative tasks through the application of theoretical knowledge and experience in the fields of the arts, media, business, design, engineering, the physical and life sciences, transport, education, health, information and communication technology, the law, social sciences and social welfare. Indicative Skill Level: In Australia:
AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma, or at least three years of relevant experience (ANZSCO Skill Level 2) In New Zealand:
NZ Register Diploma, or at least three years of relevant experience (ANZSCO Skill Level 2). In some instances relevant experience and/or on-the-job training may be required in addition to the formal qualification. Some occupations, such as those in Sub-Major Group 21 Arts and Media Professionals, require high levels of creative talent or personal commitment and interest as well as, or in place of, formal qualifications or experience.
