In the June 2009 quarter, Queensland hotels, motels and serviced apartments with 15 or more rooms catered for 2.4 million guest arrivals. Queensland establishments reported the longest average length of stay for guests (2.6 days) of all states and territories. The national average was 2.2 days. The trend estimate of Queensland total accommodation takings for hotels, motels and serviced apartments with 15 rooms was $504 million in the June 2009 quarter.
