Contents >> Invitation to Update the StatSearch Guide

This Reference Guide was introduced to provide comprehensive coverage of sources of statistical information about Western Australia. While the emphasis in this initial StatSearch has been on ABS data sources, over 70 government departments and other organisations also able to provide WA regional data have been identified and included.

The ABS is aware that other important sources of WA regional data have yet to be identified and included in this Guide. As Australia's primary statistical agency, the Australian Bureau of Statistics has a responsibility to promote the coordination of statistical collections which are undertaken by various organisations throughout Australia.

If your organisation, or an organisation that you are aware of, collects and compiles statistics on Western Australia but does not appear in this Guide, we invite you to make a new entry to be considered for inclusion in the Guide. To do so, please mail or fax details of those statistics by completing the short form at the end of this page.
