Purpose
To produce trade statistics for Queensland ports for the five year period ending June of each financial year.

Description
The publication is divided into two parts. Part I contains details of imports and exports for the individual ports. Part II contains details of imports and exports of the main commodities and groups of commodities traded through Queensland ports.

Data are collected from eight port authorities by mail questionnaire and telephone interview.

• Import and export commodities by commodity groups;
• Tonnages; and
• Commodity trends.
