Participation in Sport and Physical Activity

Provides information on the participation by Australians in selected sport and physical activities. Results from the four quarterly surveys have been collated to produce annual estimates which contain details on the number and characteristics of people (e.g. age and sex) who participate in a range of sporting and physical activities.

- frequency of participation
- expenditure on individual sport and physical activities
- participation by children aged 5-14 in school organised and club organised activities, by age
