This group covers R&D directed towards understanding issues relating to international trade, including trade policy, assistance and protection and international agreements on trade.
This group has four objectives:

910301 International Agreements on Trade
910302 Trade Assistance and Protection
910303 Trade Policy
910399 International Trade not elsewhere classified

Exclusions:
a) Efficiency, safety and utility of international transport of freight and passengers is included in Division 88 Transport.
b) Domestic trade is included in Group 9002 Property, Business Support Services and Trade.
c) International political economy, other than international trade, and international relations that do not relate to trade are included in Group 9403 International Relations.
d) Environmental aspects of international trade are included in Group 9607 Environmental Policy, Legislation and Standards.
