Description
The Australian Bus and Coach Association (ABCA) represents the interests of eleven Bus and Coach Associations in Australia. The ABCA Factsheet outlines the importance of the private bus and coach industry in Australia-its size, role and contribution to the economy.

This is an update of the 1990 Factsheet providing data on members of the ABCA, as well as providing an indication of the role of the private bus industry in the entire transport task. Unless otherwise stated, the data presented in the factsheet are for 1991-92, and have been obtained from studies conducted by the Institute of Transport Studies (University of Sydney), from data collected by the ABCA itself, and from published sources.
