Released nine additional data cubes containing information on selected health characteristics of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people for Indigenous Regions. Topics are: long-term health conditions, disability, psychological distress, alcohol consumption, illicit substance use and family stressors. Key Findings for Indigenous Regions and glossary items for Disability and Indigenous Regions have also been added.

Amendment made to the structure of the Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Survey page to direct users to the release schedule in the AATSIHS and AHS Users' Guides.

Amendments to Media Release: Decline in daily smoking rate between 2002 and 2012-13.

Amendments to Key Findings: 2002 Smoking rate; Illicit substance use in last 12 months; Marijuana use in last 12 months; High intensity exercise; and Meets NPA target guidelines.

Glossary: Changed Dietary Guidelines reference from 'Usual intake of fruit' to 'Usual daily intake of fruit' and from 'Usual intake of vegetables' to 'Usual daily intake of vegetables'.

An additional data cube containing information on selected health characteristics of Torres Strait Islander people released.

26/02/2014:
Amendments made to the footnotes in Table 4 Selected health characteristics, by sex 2012-13-Australia. The enumeration commencement date for the 2012–13 AATSIHS corrected in the 'About the Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Survey' section.

29/11/2013:
In the Key Findings, the final dot point in the Heart and circulatory diseases section now reads 'Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people were more likely than non-Indigenous people to have heart or circulatory diseases'. In the About the Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Survey section, a missing word was inserted in the first paragraph.
