ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS AND INQUIRIES

ACKNOWLEDGMENTS

ABS publications draw extensively on information provided freely by individuals, businesses, governments and other organisations. Their continued cooperation is very much appreciated: without it, the wide range of statistics published by the ABS would not be available. Information received by the ABS is treated in strict confidence as required by the Census and Statistics Act 1905. The ABS Privacy Policy outlines how the ABS handles personal information.

Data used in this publication was provided by the Queensland Department of Education, Training and Employment, the Australian Government Department of Education and Training, the Social Research Centre and the Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority. The ABS gratefully acknowledges their co-operation and advice.

This Measuring Educational Outcomes over the Life-course project was partially funded in 2013-14 through the former Strategic Cross-sectoral Data Committee for Early Childhood, Education and Training, to which the Australian Government Department of Education, the ABS, and each of the states and territories previously contributed. This committee, which previously operated within the COAG Education Council governance structure, was responsible for supporting improvements to cross-sectoral education and training data and facilitating measurement of learning over the life-course through data sharing and data integration. This committee was disbanded in September 2014.
