DESCRIPTION

The Child Care Survey collects data on the use of, and demand for, child care for children aged less than 12 years. Information is also collected on the use of the Child Care Benefit as well as the working arrangements of parents with children under 12. The survey includes information on preschool attendance. Data from this survey can be used to monitor changes in the ways families balance work and family responsibilities and to establish and monitor child care use patterns.
