Schools get a Census education
Schools all across the country have been sent a CD ROM of A Tale of Two Worlds. This interactive learning resource gives students an insight into aspects of the Census. A fact sheet about this CD ROM is provided below.
A TALE OF TWO WORLDS
A Tale of Two Worlds is an educational award-winning project produced by the Australian Bureau of Statistics.
This CD ROM is an enjoyable way for students to gain an insight into the Census process. The Census of Population and Housing will be held on 8 August this year. The Census is conducted every five years by the ABS.
A Tale of Two Worlds is packed with fun and games showing students the Census's role in a democracy and how it allows them to play a part in determining the future of Australia. Teachers can integrate its games and activities into their school lessons.
