QuickStats is a fast, simple way for users to understand an area at a glance and is intended for anyone wanting quick summary information about an area. It includes data on people, their families and dwellings in which they live.
QuickStats pages will look very different for the 2011 Census. A variety of techniques will be used to highlight the stories from the Census through tables, graphs and text. If users wish to know more about a chosen area they will be able to explore it through direct links into Community Profiles or TableBuilder Basic. QuickStats has been designed to be displayed as a series of web pages, however users will be able to print the QuickStats pages for their chosen area.
An Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander QuickStats product will also be available to provide a snapshot around Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
QuickStats is designed to be accessible by everyone, regardless of how they access the Internet.
