From the September quarter 2012, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) series has been re-referenced and is now presented on a new index reference period of 2011-12 = 100.0. A consequence of the re-referencing is that some period-to-period percentage changes may differ slightly to those previously published. These differences do not constitute a revision. Please see Consumer Price Index, Australia (cat. no. 6401.0) for more information on re-referencing.
