The ANZSIC Coder is now a point of contact coder (PoCC) which can be implemented to code ANZSIC by using an application programming interface (API). This replaces the superseded coder on CD-ROM which is no longer supported.

The ANZSIC 2006 PoCC is a web service which enables users to identify the correct ANZSIC code for an economic activity. The user sends a request to the service comprising a word or phrase describing an activity and the ANZSIC PoCC returns to the user a list of up to 20 probable activities which are relevant for the description entered. A simple interface is included to demonstrate what the ANZSIC 2006 PoCC is and whether it meets your needs. If you want to integrate the API into your applications, a developer guide is available from the Downloads tab.

The coding index for the ANZSIC PoCC will be updated periodically to include new and emerging activities.
