Count of Dependent Children in Family (CDCF)

Description

This variable counts the number of dependent children aged under 15 years that are in the family, including those temporarily absent on Census night. CDCF is derived using the Relationship in Household (RLHP) classification at the family records level.

      0 0 children
      1 1 child
      2 2 children
      3 3 children
      4 4 children
      5 5 children
      6 6 or more children
      @ Not applicable

Not applicable comprises:
    · Non-family/Non-classifiable households
    · Unoccupied private dwellings
    · Non-private dwellings
    · Migratory, off-shore and shipping CDs
