The Music and theatre production industry consists of organisations mainly engaged in providing live theatrical or musical presentations (including concerts, popular music production, theatre production, opera, ballet and drama).

At 30 June 2003, there were 13 employing organisations in the music and theatre production industry in Tasmania.
